2025 Results

Cobham Free School is delighted to announce an excellent set of A level results for the summer 2025 exam series. The strong outcomes reflect the continued development of the sixth form, building on the school’s superb reputation for excellence and track record.
Overall, the school has achieved a 99.1% pass rate A*- E. 81% of grades were awarded A* to C (above the national average of 77%) with some outstanding outcomes in individual subjects: 100% of all grades were awarded A* to C in Chemistry, Art, English Literature, History, Geography, Music and Sociology. 52% of all grades were awarded A* to B compared to the national average of 28%.
Value Added progress was excellent this year and above the national average (+0.22), particularly for those students with Special Educational Needs or in receipt of the 16 to 19 Bursary.
86% of students were accepted to their first choice Post 18 destinations.
Cobham Free School is proud to offer a wide enrichment programme to sixth formers. A record number of students in Year 12 took the Extended Project Qualification, equivalent to half an A level, with 91% of the results graded A* to C in Summer 2025, 30% of which were A* to A.
2024 Results
Cobham Free School sixth form students have achieved a commendable set of A level results today in a broad and balanced curriculum of 20 subjects. The results will enable the students to enter top university destinations in preparation for exciting future careers.
Students performed particularly well in Mathematics and English Literature, with 91% and 89% of entrants gaining A* to C in these subjects respectively. Highlights included 100% of students being awarded A* to B in Classical Civilisation and Further Mathematics, and A* to C grades being achieved by 100% of History and Art candidates, 80% of Physics students and 78% of those sitting Economics.
