Welcome to Cobham Free School
I am delighted to welcome you to the Cobham Free School (CFS) family in my capacity as one of the original founders and Executive Headteacher. When we opened our doors to just 44 infant children in September 2012, as part of the government’s free school programme, we began a journey defined by ambition, service to our community and a commitment to providing a modern, academically focused education. Today, we are proud to educate almost 1,000 pupils aged 4 to 18, serving families across our local area and providing a continuous, coherent educational pathway from Early Years to Sixth Form.
At the heart of CFS is a clear and pupil‑centred vision. Our pupils are inspired and equipped to develop character and to play their full part in the world around them. They grow into courageous, innovative, caring citizens who contribute positively to society and help make our local community a better place to live. This vision shapes every aspect of school life and reflects our commitment to developing young people who are not only academically successful but also grounded, thoughtful and ready to lead.
